Partner | Wealth Advisor

Clare is a Wealth Advisor and founding partner of Frederick Wells Advisors. After establishing a successful independent practice in 2012, she met fellow advisor, Jimmy Wells. Based on a mutual vision, they formed a partnership focusing on building long-lasting financial planning relationships with their growing clientele.  This collaborative team approach has proven very successful in fostering creative, personalized strategies designed to align with each client’s unique life goals and preferences. Together they continue to build a leading wealth management firm using advanced technology, astute financial strategies, and operational excellence.

Clare began her professional life in 1984 after earning a BS in Industrial Engineering from Penn State University where she soon was appointed Plant Industrial Engineer of a privately held aluminum company, directly supervising multiple engineers and leading the team in cooperative efforts with all departments which resulted in significant process improvements and cost savings.  Clare’s analytical aptitude and interest in having a more direct impact on the lives of those she served led her to undertake a career change after eight years as a practicing engineer. Her strong family background and belief that everyone deserves an opportunity to achieve financial independence serves as the cornerstone of Frederick Wells Advisors.

Clare started her Financial Services career with AXA Financial Advisors and then transitioned to PNC Bank, Hilliard Lyons, and PNC Investments, continually evolving with each transition.  She is committed to continuous learning and application of knowledge, earning RICP and AIF designations. She also holds FINRA series 7, and 63, and 65 licenses, as well as Life Accident and Health Insurance licenses, and continues to be an avid learner and prudent adopter of advanced wealth management strategies.

Clare is a long-time resident of Mount Lebanon Township where she and her husband, Scott raised their daughter, Alexandra.  She continues to give back to the community, having served as an elected officer in various capacities for the Institute of Industrial Engineers (IIE), has frequently spoken to high school and college students on the professional and personal benefits of an engineering curriculum, while she continues to actively support multiple charities. Clare enjoys practicing yoga, outdoor activities, travel, and family time.
